The UX Designer takes care of the experience: understanding who uses the product and designing journeys, flows and interfaces. The Product Owner takes care of value: setting priorities, organizing the backlog and making sure the team delivers what matters to the business. Since I work in both roles, I can connect what users need with what is feasible to deliver, without noise between design and product.
Most of my experience is with financial products, insurance and public-sector digital services, including projects for Banco do Brasil, the Federal Police, AGU, SUS, TRE-DF, the Ministry of Communications and UnB. These are complex systems with many business rules, and my job is to turn them into clear, easy-to-use experiences.
I start by understanding the problem, the business and the audience through research and discovery. Then I map journeys, design flows, wireframes and prototypes, and validate solutions with users before development. When it makes sense, I use Design Sprints and set up a design system to keep deliveries consistent and fast.
Yes. Besides interface design, I develop websites, including WordPress projects. This helps me design knowing what can actually be built, and deliver the site ready to launch.
Figma for design and prototypes, Miro for workshops and journey mapping, Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation, Hotjar, Maze and Google Analytics for research and analysis, and WordPress for websites. I also use artificial intelligence to support my work.
I use it as support, for example to speed up research, organize ideas, generate content and prototype faster. Design and product decisions are still mine, based on data, user research and the context of each project.
